At first I was excited about the much needed course, BUT after reading the prospectus I am appalled by the R65000 price tag attached to a year study!!!! WHY is being ‘trained’ to help the marginalized becoming another capitalistic money making scheme for experts? this course is excluding those who needs it most yet again from the educational systems and makes the course ‘unsustainable’ in turmoil times of ‘fees must fall’. Anyway just my humble subjective opinion
Yes, that is why there will be bursaries for most of the students – this is an expensive programme to run. The challenge is not to cut costs and do something inferior; the challenge is to raise the funds from donors to cover those costs.
